The Oasis Tree Shrine

The world is very overgrown with flora and magic, except for the 'Fading Canyon', a deadlands where the land is slowly dying (and this area is only getting larger). Deep inside this canyon is The Oasis Tree, a tree mysteriously thriving, surrounded by luscious green and powerful magic. People journey here to pray to Kriti, goddess of the tree. However, Kriti is secretly a powerful mage who is using the tree to seep power from the land so she can turn herself into a true goddess and rule over the world.

This was my first deepdive into Unreal Engine, and I learned a lot from it! I had a lot of fun with this one and getting to learn about sculpting, VFX and lighting. BIG BIG thank you to Enya Oreshkin, Phillip Zhang, Patrick Ward, and Sebastian King who all helped with their feedback to bring this to where it is.

Concepts for Kriti, trying to find a design I liked. The plan was to keep her silohuette very triangular/treelike, and find a balance of friendly/evil shapes to match her nature.
